What “AI readiness” actually measures

Being found by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Doubao, and Grok is not the same as ranking in classic search. AI assistants read your pages through automated crawlers that usually do not run JavaScript, then decide whether your content is clear enough, structured enough, and trustworthy enough to quote in an answer. This quiz scores the ten signals that most often decide that outcome.

Those signals fall into a few groups. Crawlability — whether GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, and Google-Extended are allowed in your robots.txt and not blocked by a CDN or bot-fight rule. Rendering — whether your main content exists in the raw HTML or only appears after client-side JavaScript runs, which most AI crawlers never see. Structure — schema.org JSON-LD, a sensible heading outline, descriptive titles, and an llms.txt that points assistants at your best pages. Substance — enough plain-language text on the page for a model to extract concrete facts, names, and numbers worth citing.

The quiz is self-reported and takes about two minutes, so treat the score as a direction, not a verdict. When you want the real numbers, paste a URL on the homepage: the full audit fetches your page exactly the way an AI bot does, runs 60+ checks across eleven categories, and returns a 0–100 score with a prioritized, paste-ready fix list and per-assistant impact tags.
