Knowatoa studies how AI models recommend brands on commercial queries — with a free no-signup audit as its front door, same as ours. Here is where the two actually differ.

FAQ
Both offer a free audit — what is the difference between them?
Ours is a technical crawl audit: it fetches your site as GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, Doubao and Grok do, then reports per-agent blockers with paste-ready fixes. Knowatoa’s free audit focuses on visibility signals around your brand. Run both — they answer different questions and neither costs anything.
Is Knowatoa’s $59 Starter expensive?
For what it includes — daily refreshes and a dedicated account rep — it is fair; that combination is rare at $59. The question is what you need: if the job is "find and fix why agents cannot read my site", our $5–$14 tiers cover it. If the job is ongoing recommendation intelligence with human help, Knowatoa earns its price.
Does AI Visibility Checker track how AI models recommend my brand?
Not yet — lightweight citation checks are the next item on our public roadmap, built to verify fixes worked (scan → fix → verify) rather than to be a recommendation-intelligence product. Today we are the fix layer; Knowatoa is one of the options for the measurement layer.
